Airbnb launches AI search and social travel features

Airbnb's fall update introduces AI-powered property search via text or voice prompts, with dynamic filters that adapt to user input. For example, typing "baby" surfaces filters for cribs, playgrounds, and toys. AI also generates property summaries and enables wish-list comparisons. On the social side, users can now view a map of where their connections have stayed and what experiences they booked. Privacy controls let users opt out of sharing trip data. The app also expands on-the-ground services including meal delivery, laundry, and baby-gear and ski rentals in select locations.
