AI Writes Wigan Column, Shops Get Spotlight

Tony Porter revisited his Easter tradition of letting AI write his column, one year on from the first attempt. The AI-generated piece reflected on Wigan town centre's decline, calling for genuine community dialogue to shape the town's future beyond council meetings and newsletters. Porter then highlighted positive local developments, including a new Warlord Games shop opening soon and three independent businesses featured in his Wigan Watch video series: Creation Wedding and Prom Dresses, trading for 52 years, and the newer Bright Moon Crystals in Makinson Arcade.
