Unlike mainstream apps built on Western language frameworks, Asalingo focuses on tonal accuracy and real-life spoken prompts, offering instant phonetic feedback in sessions of 10 to 15 minutes. The platform aims to preserve African languages within everyday technology, not just cultural memory. Asalingo is expanding its language library, developing tools for language schools, and preparing a pilot with the University of Hull while seeking partnerships with African studies departments.
