xAI's Grok 4.6 Joins Amazon Bedrock Model Catalog

xAI's Grok 4.6 is now available in Amazon Bedrock, offering a 500K token context window and configurable reasoning at four levels. Built for long-running agents, coding, and knowledge work, it is xAI's second model on the platform following Grok 4.3. Unlike its predecessor, Grok 4.6 is available on both bedrock-runtime and bedrock-mantle endpoints, supporting the Converse API alongside Chat Completions and Responses. The model features enhanced self-testing behaviors, stronger first-pass visual output, and improved safety calibration backed by xAI's broadest pre-deployment testing suite to date.
