Workiva Targets Business Outcomes With AI-Native Workflows

Workiva CIO Kim Huffman says building AI-native workflows requires rethinking how people, processes and data work together around a shared business outcome, not treating AI as a bolt-on capability. Strong data governance, she argues, enables faster movement by building trust in AI outputs. At Workiva's Amplify event, the company unveiled Agent Studio, a no-code tool letting employees build and customize AI agents. Huffman noted teams grasped the platform quickly, delivering working solutions for specific use cases within days and seeing immediate results.
