Wirestock Raises $23M Supplying AI Labs Creative Data

Wirestock, formerly a stock photography distribution platform, has raised $23 million in Series A funding led by Nava Ventures to expand its AI data supply business. The round also saw participation from SBVP, Formula VC, and I2BF Ventures, bringing total funding to $26 million. The company pivoted in 2023 to providing multimodal datasets including images, videos, 3D content, and design assets to six major AI foundation model makers. With over 700,000 contributors on its platform, Wirestock reports $40 million in annual run-rate revenue and has paid out $15 million to creators. It plans to use the new funds to grow its engineering and product teams.
