The company pivoted this year from a stock image distribution platform to selling AI training data, including a catalog of 50 million-plus images and videos from 700,000 users. Its annualized revenue exceeded $40 million before the round. Wirestock plans to use the funds to hire AI researchers and engineers and develop software for enterprise AI labs to collaborate on datasets. The company may also expand beyond visual content into other data types, capitalizing on surging demand driven by world model and computer use AI development.
