White Circle Raises $11M to Guard AI Models

Pumpkin Intelligence Inc., operating as White Circle, has raised $11 million in seed funding to help companies secure and monitor AI model behavior. Backers include OpenAI and Anthropic figures, along with DataDog CEO Olivier Pomel. The startup was founded by Denis Shilov, who went viral in 2024 after jailbreaking multiple major AI models with a single prompt. White Circle offers a single API that monitors AI inputs and outputs in real time, detecting harmful content, hallucinations, prompt injection attacks, and model drift. Supporting over 150 languages, the platform uses specialized AI models that improve over time by learning normal behavior patterns of the systems they protect.
