Warp launches programmable AI agents for HR
Warp has launched Warp Agent as part of its Warp 2.0 release, enabling businesses to automate HR tasks such as onboarding, tax compliance, benefits administration and employee queries using natural-language workflows. The tool allows companies to configure event-driven or scheduled routines without technical expertise.
Admins retain control over agent permissions, with an audit trail and added restrictions on hard-to-reverse actions like payroll. Warp claims onboarding time has dropped from 10-20 hours to under two hours. Pricing starts at $35 per person per month. The New York startup, which has raised $85 million, positions itself as a challenger to Workday.
