Velaura AI Raises $110M for Energy-Efficient Chips
Velaura AI, formerly bitcoin mining chip maker Auradine, has raised $110 million in a Series A round led by Seligman Ventures, with participation from Samsung Catalyst Fund and Mayfield, pushing its valuation above $1 billion. The company pivoted to AI chips in March 2026.
Its flagship product, Titan Core, offers processor building blocks and services to help customers design AI chips with significantly lower power consumption. Velaura claims the technology cuts energy use for key AI calculations by two to four times, saving up to $1,300 per chip over three years.
