Veeda AI Raises $90M to Build Robot Training Simulations
Veeda AI, founded by former Nvidia researcher Sanja Fidler and two co-founders, has raised $90 million in seed funding co-led by Khosla Ventures and Radical Ventures. The round is one of the largest seed financings ever raised by a Canadian startup, coming just three months after the company was founded.
Veeda develops multimodal world models designed to simulate physical environments for training robots and embodied AI agents. Fidler argues that robots cannot learn through real-world trial and error at scale, making high-fidelity simulation essential infrastructure for the future of robotics.
