Vapi Hits $500M Valuation After Winning Amazon Ring
AI voice startup Vapi raised a $50 million Series B at a $500 million valuation, led by Peak XV Partners with participation from Microsoft M12, Kleiner Perkins, and Bessemer Venture Partners. The funding follows a major win with Amazon Ring, which chose Vapi over 40 rivals to handle 100% of its inbound customer calls, resulting in improved satisfaction scores.
Founded in 2024 by Jordan Dearsley and Nikhil Gupta, Vapi has processed over 1 billion calls and serves 1 million developers alongside enterprise clients including Intuit, New York Life, and Instawork. The startup processes up to 5 million calls daily and reports eight-figure annual recurring revenue.
