Upscale AI Raises $190M, Valued at $2B
Data center networking startup Upscale AI has raised $190 million as an extension to its $200 million Series A round, reaching a $2 billion valuation. The raise was led by Premji Invest with participation from Nvidia, Salesforce Ventures, Temasek, and others.
The company develops AI-optimized scale-up and scale-out switches designed to deliver deterministic latency for GPU workloads. Its custom SkyHammer chip supports open protocols including UALink and ESUN, while its scale-out line combines Nvidia Spectrum-X silicon with an AI-optimized version of the SONiC operating system. Funds will accelerate commercialization efforts.
