Treble Raises $18M for Robot Audio Simulation
Icelandic startup Treble Technologies has secured $18 million in a Series-A2 round led by Paladin Capital Group to expand its audio simulation platform for robotics AI training. The funding will enhance its platform and accelerate go-to-market efforts.
Treble's software generates synthetic audio datasets by simulating real-world environments, replacing the slow manual process of recording training sounds for robots. The platform accounts for room size, materials, background noise, and microphone placement, and the company claims its datasets can reduce speech recognition error rates by 38%.
