The partnership powers CoCounsel, Thomson Reuters' legal AI assistant, which combines authoritative content from Westlaw and Practical Law with agentic capabilities vetted for hallucination and bias before release. The companies argue that governed data is not a constraint on AI adoption but the foundation that makes it viable for lawyers, tax accountants and auditors who carry personal liability. Snowflake's tools now extend this trusted platform to over 1,500 internal users, enabling natural language data queries and faster innovation without sacrificing data integrity.
