TensorWave Bets Big on AMD-Only Cloud Strategy
TensorWave is building its AI cloud infrastructure exclusively on AMD hardware, betting that focused specialization delivers better reliability and customer experience than multi-platform approaches. Co-founder and CEO Darrick Horton argues AMD is the only credible challenger to NVIDIA at scale.
The company believes that supporting a single hardware ecosystem allows it to operate clusters more seamlessly, removing the infrastructure burden from customers. Horton emphasized that in AI cloud services, failing to specialize means customer experience will inevitably suffer.
