Starburst launches AI platform to fix enterprise data chaos

Starburst Data has unveiled its Enterprise Intelligence Platform, combining federated query technology with a new semantic context layer, governance controls, and agentic AI capabilities. The platform lets organizations run AI workloads directly on distributed data without centralizing it, aiming to reduce hallucinations and inconsistent AI outputs. Key additions include general availability of Aida, a natural language AI assistant, plus AI-Ready Data Products, expanded Apache Iceberg management tools, and a bring-your-own-cloud deployment option. The platform supports multiple AI models and ingests metadata from systems like Collibra and Tableau without requiring data migration.
