Sony purges PS5 store of AI shovelware games
Sony has removed hundreds of shovelware and copyright-infringing games from the PlayStation Store, including titles featuring stolen Uncharted assets and a Jesus-themed simulator. Thousands of games have been removed this year, with entire publisher catalogues deleted.
However, the purge has had limited success. One game simply swapped Nathan Drake's image for a generic soldier and remained listed, while Jesus Simulator was replaced almost immediately by Jesus: The Journey. The core problem persists — Sony appears unable to prevent these games from appearing in the first place.
