Salesforce acquires Listen Labs in $2B deal

Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AI customer research startup Listen Labs in a deal reported at around $2 billion, though neither company disclosed terms. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce's fiscal 2027. Listen Labs builds AI agents that recruit participants, conduct interviews in over 120 languages, analyze responses, and simulate customer behavior using digital twins. Salesforce plans to integrate the technology into Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud. Listen Labs had raised $69 million in a Series B round in January and was valued at $500 million at that time.
