SageMaker AI Adds Coding Agent Inference Optimization Skill

Amazon SageMaker AI has launched the aws-ai-ml skill for the Agent Toolkit for AWS, enabling coding agents like Kiro, Claude Code, and Codex to optimize generative AI inference. Compatible with any Model Context Protocol agent, the skill lets users benchmark endpoints, compare performance runs, recommend deployment configurations, and generate executable SageMaker Python SDK v3 code through natural language prompts. It can be installed locally in under 10 minutes or used within a pre-configured Amazon SageMaker Studio JupyterLab space, requiring only standard SageMaker API permissions.
