Rubrik Launches AI Agent Platform and Claude Security Tool

Rubrik has transformed its data security platform into an autonomous agent system and released Agent Cloud for Claude to general availability at its Forward conference in Las Vegas. The company, now calling itself the Security and AI Operations Company, unveiled Rubrik AI, which lets customers define business outcomes while the software autonomously manages data, identities, and deployed agents. Agent Cloud for Claude addresses security gaps created when AI agents write and deploy code without human oversight, offering features like the SAGE governance engine, Agent Rewind for reversing unintended actions, and Codebase Resilience for immutable repository snapshots. Six major systems integrators including Deloitte, Cognizant, and Wipro will resell the service through the new Project Hourglass partner program.
