RevEng.AI Raises $15M to Secure Software Supply Chains
British startup RevEng.AI has raised $15 million in Series A funding to help organizations detect hidden threats in software binaries without needing source code access. Its foundational AI model, BiNet, reverse-engineers machine-executable code to uncover vulnerabilities and backdoors in third-party software. The round was led by the NATO Innovation Fund, with participation from Sands Capital, In-Q-Tel, IQ Capital and Episode One. The company says urgency is growing as AI coding tools generate vast amounts of unreviewed software, making binary-level verification increasingly critical for enterprises and defense organizations.
