Recursive Superintelligence Inks $410M AWS Compute Deal
AI startup Recursive Superintelligence has signed a $410 million multiyear compute deal with Amazon Web Services. The company, which launched from stealth in May with $650 million in funding, focuses on building self-improving AI systems and expects this to be among its smallest compute deals in the coming years. Unlike typical big-lab arrangements, the deal includes no investment component but does involve co-developing purpose-built infrastructure. CEO Richard Socher says the company prioritizes compute over headcount, and plans to release tangible products by October.
