OpenAI Releases Codex Micro Hardware Device

OpenAI has launched its first hardware product, a square-shaped block of buttons called Codex Micro, designed for use with its coding platform, Codex. It is not the highly anticipated AI device being developed with former Apple designer Jony Ive. The Jony Ive collaboration remains in development but has been entangled in legal disputes. Codex Micro marks OpenAI's first step into physical products, targeting developers rather than the broader consumer market.
