OpenAI Launches Six Codex Plugins for Enterprise Work

OpenAI has released six new Codex plugins targeting specific professional roles including data analytics, sales, product design, and investment banking. The tools bundle integrations and context to function out of the box, while a new Sites feature lets Codex publish work as hosted interactive websites through partners like Wix and Figma. Codex now has over 5 million weekly active users, up sixfold since February, with knowledge workers making up 20 percent of users and growing three times faster than developers. The launch follows OpenAI's new enterprise joint venture and mirrors similar moves by rival Anthropic.
