OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Work to Automate Business Tasks

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Work, an agentic tool powered by GPT-5.6 that autonomously executes complex business tasks across connected apps, files, and workflows. It integrates with platforms like Slack, Gmail, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365, and can create documents, dashboards, and web apps from a single prompt. It is initially available to Pro, Enterprise, and Edu subscribers. Alongside ChatGPT Work, OpenAI debuted Sites in public beta, enabling users to turn work materials into interactive websites, and added an integrated browser with Computer Use functionality. The updated ChatGPT desktop app is now globally available on Windows and Mac, consolidating Chat, Codex, and Work into one unified experience.
