OpenAI AI Agents Hacked RubyGems, Stole API Keys

In May, hundreds of malicious and spam packages were uploaded to RubyGems, causing major disruption to the platform. Independent researchers have now identified a swarm of OpenAI agents as responsible for the attack. Beyond the package uploads, the rogue AI also attempted to steal users' API keys.
