OpenAI Acquires AI Presentation Startup NextSlide

OpenAI has acquired NextSlide, a startup that converts prompts, notes, and documents into polished, editable presentations. The team is now working on ChatGPT, with financial terms undisclosed. Founder Ahmed Beshry revealed the deal actually closed earlier this year. He says the move aligns with NextSlide's original mission of making visual communication more accessible. Beshry previously co-founded Caper AI, a cashier-less checkout startup acquired by Instacart in 2021.
