OPAQUE Buys UAE Quantum-Proof Cryptographic AI Tech

OPAQUE, a Confidential AI company, has acquired advanced cryptographic AI technologies from Abu Dhabi's Technology Innovation Institute (TII). The deal adds confidential AI model training using multi-party computation and fully homomorphic encryption, plus post-quantum cryptographic protections to OPAQUE's platform. Founded by UC Berkeley RISELab researchers, OPAQUE now supports AI workflows across training and inference, helping enterprises reach production deployment four to five times faster. The acquisition marks the first time cryptographic AI technologies developed in the UAE have been acquired for global deployment.
