Omnissa launches AI agents, Cloud PC, and Elara governance

Omnissa unveiled AI agents for IT teams and virtual desktop users, a managed Cloud PC service, and an AI governance product called Elara at its ONE 2026 conference in Orlando. The launches target a surge in unsanctioned AI tool use, which grew nearly 1,000% across enterprise endpoints in 2025, with about three-quarters coming from unapproved apps. New IT agents handle troubleshooting, app packaging, and vulnerability patching. Horizon Delegate runs tasks inside virtual desktops under approved user permissions. Elara provides a governance layer across AI apps, models, and agents. Cloud PC will launch first on AWS.
