Nscale Adds Fidji Simo Ahead of IPO

U.K.-based AI data center startup Nscale has appointed former OpenAI, Meta, and Instacart executive Fidji Simo to its board. She joins Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, and Nick Clegg as the company prepares for an anticipated IPO this fall. Simo, who served as OpenAI's No. 2 executive before departing in July for health reasons, previously led Instacart through its 2023 IPO. Nscale, founded just two years ago, is reportedly seeking to raise up to $3.5 billion ahead of its public listing.
