NetApp makes legacy data AI-ready without rebuilding
NetApp is positioning its intelligent data infrastructure platform to help enterprises use existing legacy data for AI without re-architecting or moving it. Senior VP Jen Prenner says data must be accessible, governed, protected, and available where it already lives. NetApp's unified approach covers file, block, and object storage across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments. The company also announced a fully managed storage service on Oracle Cloud within 12 months, and expanded its data protection partnership with Commvault, with a Console control plane supporting disconnected deployments.
