Motive Technologies launches autonomous AI fleet management agents

Motive Technologies has launched AI Agents, a suite of autonomous tools designed to move fleet management beyond passive monitoring into proactive action. The agents can detect driver fatigue and direct drivers to rest stops, warn of severe weather, auto-generate maintenance work orders, and curb engine idling by prompting drivers via the AI Dashcam Plus. Motive estimates fleet operators lose $46 billion annually from preventable issues. Its 2026 ROI Report found 42% of customers cite administrative inefficiencies as a major problem. Early next year, Motive plans to let customers build custom agents by describing tasks in plain language.
