Motive launches AI agents for physical operations
Motive Inc. has launched Agents, an agentic AI platform that automatically responds to safety, maintenance, and operational issues in transportation, logistics, and construction before they escalate. Rather than generating alerts for staff to act on, Agents contacts drivers, creates maintenance work orders, and coordinates fleet responses autonomously using data already collected on Motive's platform. The company estimates preventable operational problems cost industries roughly $46 billion annually. Agents are available now, with natural-language workflow creation planned for early 2027. Motive has not provided independently validated performance results for the new platform.
