Mistral AI Targets $1.17B Revenue With Bold Expansion
French AI startup Mistral AI used its first-ever conference in Paris to announce a major expansion into industrial manufacturing, a new inference data center near Paris, and a rebrand of its consumer assistant. CEO Arthur Mensch and co-founders outlined plans to become the go-to enterprise AI provider for companies wary of sharing sensitive data with American tech giants.
The company, now employing 1,000 people, is targeting €1 billion in revenue by 2026. This marks a dramatic leap for a startup that launched in 2023 with just 15 employees and BNP Paribas as its first client.
