Mistlabs launches Ambi AI on Apple with $26M

Mistlabs has taken its Ambi ambient AI system out of beta on Apple devices, backed by $26 million in Pre-A funding led by Luminous Ventures and Huaqin Technology. Ambi runs on Macs and iOS 18 devices, learning from conversations heard on iPhone, Apple Watch, or Mac to act proactively across devices. Users can set up Routines that deploy multiple agents simultaneously. A forthcoming feature will let agents representing two users in the same meeting negotiate toward a mutually acceptable outcome. The funding will also support a standalone wearable to give Ambi broader context about users and their environment.
