Microsoft patches record 570 bugs, credits AI

Microsoft issued patches for a record 570 security vulnerabilities this week as part of its monthly Patch Tuesday update, crediting AI tools for helping uncover previously hidden flaws in its software. At least two vulnerabilities were actively exploited before Microsoft discovered them, including bugs affecting Windows Server and SharePoint. Microsoft warned last week that AI-assisted security scanning would lead to larger patch batches going forward.
