Microsoft Launches CoreAI Group Led by Jay Parikh - Microsoft has formed a new engineering division, CoreAI Platform and Tools, led by former Meta executive Jay Parikh. Announced by CEO Satya Nadella, this group aims to enhance Microsoft's Copilot AI products, particularly in AI-powered coding assistants and AI agent development.
The unit merges teams from AI Platform, Dev Div, and the Office of the CTO, focusing on creating versatile AI applications. Parikh will work with key Microsoft executives like Mustafa Suleyman as the company bolsters its position in the AI technology landscape.
