Meta Patches Zero-Day Flaw in Muse AI App

Meta has released a patch for its Muse macOS app after security researcher Patrick Wardle discovered a zero-day vulnerability allowing attackers to hijack the AI agent. The flaw exploited an undocumented setting that let anyone running local code redirect transcription processing away from Meta's servers. By rerouting traffic to their own endpoint, attackers could gain full access to a victim's Muse account. The vulnerability has since been patched following its public disclosure.
