Meta opens Muse AI agent to DIY hardware
Meta has launched Muse Gadgets, an open-source project letting developers build custom hardware connected to its Muse AI agent. The company is providing firmware, a Linux SDK, and project ideas such as e-ink displays and HDMI stick setups. Compatible with Raspberry Pi and ESP32 boards, the platform supports connecting Muse to displays, sensors, and actuators. Meta also built Muse Home Link, a USB-C device linking Muse to smart home speakers and TVs, with 5,000 units being given free to subscribers. The move is part of Meta's broader push to expand Muse beyond consumers into small businesses and enterprises.
