Meta Launches Encrypted Private AI Chat Mode

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced Incognito Chat, claiming it is the first major AI product with no server-side conversation logs. Messages are not saved to chat history, and the feature uses end-to-end encryption. Meta distinguishes its offering from similar incognito modes on rival AI chatbots by highlighting the encryption layer. The announcement comes despite Meta recently removing end-to-end encryption from Instagram direct messages.
