Meta AI Glasses vs Ray-Ban: Worth Switching?

Meta has launched new unbranded AI Glasses at $299, $80 cheaper than the Meta Ray-Ban AI Glasses, both manufactured by EssilorLuxottica. The lower price doesn't mean fewer features — the new glasses offer the same Meta AI assistant, multi-mic array, photo and video capture, and slightly better battery life at over eight hours. The new Meta Glasses also bring notable upgrades including adjustable nose pads, overextension hinges, broader prescription lens support, and 26 style options across three frames — including a Kylie Jenner collaboration. For most buyers, the cheaper model appears to offer better value without meaningful compromises.
