Meta AI Comes to Threads Private Messages

Meta is rolling out its AI chatbot within Threads' direct messages globally, allowing users to privately chat with Meta AI for the first time. Previously, Threads users in select markets could only interact with Meta AI in public posts. The integration lets users share posts, images, links, and videos directly with Meta AI and ask follow-up questions. The move extends Meta AI's presence across all of Meta's major platforms and aims to keep users from turning to rivals like ChatGPT or Google Gemini.
