Manus AI Agent Raises $500M at $4B Valuation
Chinese AI agent developer Manus has raised over $500 million in a round led by Boyu Capital, with participation from Tencent and others. Bloomberg previously reported the deal values the company at $4 billion, roughly double what Meta had offered before a planned acquisition was blocked by Chinese regulators in April. The funding coincides with the launch of Manus 2.0, which introduces a new software harness reducing token use by 23.2% and speeding processing by over 28%, along with new features including Cloud Computer and Cue for agent collaboration.
