LucidLink Launches MCP Server for AI Agent File Sharing
LucidLink has released a public beta MCP server that gives AI agents shared, persistent access to distributed files across clouds, on-premises systems and edge environments. The server connects any MCP-compatible agent or orchestrator to a LucidLink filespace, enabling multi-agent workflows to share state without repeatedly copying or moving data.
The company, which manages over 95 petabytes for more than 6,000 customers, positions its existing capabilities including global file locking and zero-knowledge encryption as infrastructure for agentic AI. The server supports Claude, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex and CrewAI frameworks.
