Lama AI Raises $10M for Automated Bank Lending
Lama AI has closed a $10 million Series A round led by EJF Ventures, bringing total funding to over $20 million after tripling revenue in the past year. New investors Fin Capital and 1st & Main joined existing backers Viola Ventures, Hetz Ventures and SixThirty.
The startup's AI-native platform helps community and regional banks automate loan origination, using autonomous agents to handle intake, underwriting, approvals and portfolio monitoring. Already processing billions in loan volume for dozens of banks, Lama AI will use the new funds to expand its go-to-market teams and deepen AI automation capabilities.
