Keewano Raises $12M for AI Agent Database
Tel Aviv startup Keewano launched KeewanoDB, an event-oriented database built for AI agents needing real-time context for analytics and decision-making. The company secured $12 million from Hetz Ventures, a16z Speedrun, and others.
Unlike traditional relational databases, KeewanoDB stores events in sequence around entities like customers or devices, eliminating ETL pipelines. It claims to query 250 million events in under half a second and offers token savings of around 84% compared to querying Snowflake or BigQuery directly.
