Jensen Huang: AI Memory Shortage Lasts Years
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang declared AI-related stocks "very cheap" after Friday's selloff, warning that memory shortages will persist for several years. Speaking from South Korea, he cited massive demand across the entire supply chain, from wafers to connectors, and announced a multi-year partnership with SK Hynix for next-generation memory development.
Micron and SanDisk both rose in overnight trading despite a 4.8% drop in the Korean KOSPI index. Analysts view Huang's comments as reframing last week's sharp declines in MU and SNDK as a buying opportunity rather than a peak signal, with both companies already showing multi-year order visibility.
