Intrinsic Launches Modular AI Robotics Platform at Automate
Google's Intrinsic unveiled an AI-powered modular robotic workcell at Automate 2026, offering companies a software-first approach to factory automation. The system uses IntrinsicOS and a drag-and-drop interface called Flowstate to replace hundreds of hours of complex robotics programming with simplified deployment. The platform supports diverse hardware, including a live FANUC robot demo, and partners with CNC integrators Trinity Automation and MartinSystems. Incorporated into Google's core operations in February, Intrinsic previously announced a 2025 partnership with Foxconn to explore mass robot deployment on assembly lines.
