Intel Makes CPU the Core of AI Security
As agentic AI moves on-premises, Intel is positioning its hardware as the foundational layer of enterprise security. The company's Xeon platform anchors its AI factory security strategy across four areas: boot-level protection, confidential computing, hardware-enforced software controls, and performance-efficient encryption. Intel is also preparing enterprises for post-quantum threats, warning of harvest now, decrypt later attacks where adversaries stockpile encrypted data for future decryption. Its Xeon 6 processors already support quantum-safe cryptography, with full platform transition expected by 2029.
